Evergreen’s Iron Marvie is a sinking model designed to reduce the spinning that commonly occurs with metal blade baits during casting and on the fall, as well as line tangles around the hooks, making it easier to impart aggressive actions. The original size measures 7.5 cm in length and weighs 25.0 g, offering the wide-area search capability characteristic of metal blade baits.
The combination of an ultra-slim, tail-shaped metal blade, an ultra-low-center-of-gravity weight section with an optimized shape, and a precisely positioned line eye stabilizes the lure’s flight posture during casting and its falling posture during countdowns. The slender, rounded body and tail produce a high-pitch, natural wobbling action that is softer than that of typical metal blade baits. It handles retrieves ranging from slow to fast and quickly returns to its proper posture after rolling and flashing in changing currents. Even when combining twitches, jerks, pauses, and falls, it helps create a balance between enticing the fish and allowing it time to take the lure while reducing line tangles. The front hook eye projects outward from the body, providing ample hook movement. Both the front and rear are equipped as standard with No. 5 treble hooks, and the lure is compatible with the E.G.
