Ecogear Balt

ECOGEAR’s BALT is a shad-tail soft lure designed with a large tail and flat-sided body to attract fish through vibration and flash. It produces a stable, natural, high-pitch rolling action while triggering bites with vibration that differs from that of conventional shad-tail lures. The flat-sided body creates a flashing effect as it rolls, while the tail is designed not to push too much water, helping to keep the rig stable even when fishing deep.

The lineup includes 3.5-inch, 4-inch, and 6-inch sizes. The 3.5-inch model is suited to presentations that imitate small baitfish, while the 4-inch model pairs well with Iwashi Heads and swimming tenya rigs for covering a wide area at an efficient pace. The 6-inch model is designed to use its volume to make its presence known to fish at a distance. Primarily used for swimming presentations with a jig head or similar rig, the appropriate model can be selected according to the rig and baitfish size, making it suitable for targeting saltwater predators, including rockfish and flatfish.
