ECOGEAR BUG ANTS are hog- and craw-style soft baits designed to combine excellent handling with a strong presence by providing ample volume for their length. They feature a flat body combined with intricately shaped legs and large paddle sections, creating a structure that catches water across the entire body. As the legs grab the water, the large paddle sections produce a distinctive water displacement, creating an appealing action with a strong presence near the bottom.

When bottom-bumping, the paddle sections flare out for added visual appeal, making BUG ANTS suitable for rigs targeting rockfish with a sharp, pronounced action. Available in 2-inch, 3-inch, and 4-inch sizes, they come in packs of 10 or 8 depending on the size. Depending on the size and color, the available material specifications include natural sinking, half-floating, and floating versions. In addition to hopping the bait in short, sharp movements along the bottom, BUG ANTS are easy to use for dragging along the bottom or for lift-and-fall presentations near the bottom. The movement of the paddles and legs makes this model well suited to crustacean-inspired presentations. The 3-inch model measures 82 mm, offering a well-balanced combination of volume and ease of use.
