ARROWS’ LaLa is a sinking, shallow-running lipless lure that expands on the concept developed for Rare Force, in a size suited to small baitfish found in harbors, small rivers, tidal flats, and similar environments. Rather than simply downsizing the original, it was developed as a new design, featuring an 86 mm, 10.5 g body with a silicone hybrid construction.

Its silent weight system takes advantage of the flexibility of silicone to suppress the noise caused by the internal weight shifting from side to side, while combining the advantages of both moving-weight and fixed-weight systems. During casting, it is designed to maintain a stable flight posture, while after splashdown, the silicone body catches water to produce a supple, water-friendly action unlike that of conventional fixed-weight lures. Making use of its sinking configuration, it can be allowed to descend to the desired depth, then worked primarily with a steady retrieve while adjusting the retrieve speed to match the current and bait position. This sinking pencil bait can search a wide range of water, from shallow-focused presentations to retrieves after the lure has descended.
