Ima Aldente

ima’s Aldente is a sinking pencil lure developed to consistently trace just beneath the surface for the river-worm and micro-bait patterns. Its slim body maintains a shallow running depth, while its rolling action wavers in response to current and subtle underwater changes. The Aldente 95S measures 95 mm in length, weighs 7.1 g, and runs at a depth of 0–1 cm. The Aldente 70S measures 70 mm, weighs 4 g, and also runs at 0–1 cm. The 95S is designed for targeting the surface at medium to long range, while the 70S is sized for medium- to close-range approaches, including fishing right along the shoreline. Although both are sinking models, they are easy to retrieve near the surface and are suited to sea bass fishing in harbors, tidal flats, estuaries, and rivers. The standard hooks are size #10 on the 95S and size #12 on the 70S; both use size #2 split rings.

The Aldente 95S danza and Aldente 70S danza are derivative models with increased weight compared with the original models. An additional fixed weight in the rear of the body improves casting distance and gives the lure a more horizontal sinking posture. The running depth extends to 0–10 cm below the surface, and the action has been changed to a subtle, wavering slalom action. The distinctive belly shape responds to underwater changes, making these lures suitable for probing slightly deeper than just beneath the surface, primarily with a steady retrieve. The 95S danza measures 95 mm, weighs 8 g, and is equipped with size #10 hooks. The 70S danza measures 70 mm, weighs 4.3 g, and is equipped with size #12 hooks. Both models use size #2 split rings.
