YGK X-BRAID Scrum 16 Protect Limited

YGK’s SCRUM16 PROTECT LIMITED is an assist line designed to reinforce the area around the knot on the main PE line and support sections where line trouble is likely to concentrate. It uses 16-strand hollow PE, and the line system is assembled by using the included core to thread the main PE line through the hollow section. The core is made of braided line, a structure designed to help prevent the main line from slipping out during the threading process.

By making it easier to thread the main line, it helps reduce setup time and is also designed to help prevent problems such as wind knots. Made from PE with a specific gravity of 0.98, it is available in different colors for each size so you can choose according to the diameter of your main PE line. Sizes 5 (Blue), 6 (Orange), 8 (Green), 10 (Purple), 12 (Pink), and 16 (Yellow) are supplied in 6 m spools, while size 20 (White) is supplied in a 5 m spool. It uses connectable Velo spools for convenient storage in a tackle box. Thread the main line through using the core, then assemble the line system so that it covers the area around the knot to reinforce the main-line connection.
