YGK X-BRAID Upgrade X8 Pentagram

YGK’s UPGRADE X8 PENTAGRAM is a PE line featuring five-color sections and 20 cm markings every 2 m, making it easy to approach while keeping track of the line’s position and distance. Combining high-density pitch construction, WX8 braiding technology, GP processing, and HST processing, it is designed to achieve both abrasion resistance and straight-line strength—two performance characteristics that can be difficult to balance in PE lines.

The eight-carrier WX8 construction braids the base yarns and fibers with symmetrical left- and right-hand twist directions, improving strength stability and line straightness. Made from polyethylene, it has a specific gravity of 0.98. The five-color sections and detailed markings allow you to monitor how much line is coming off after the cast and changes in water depth while fishing. The lineup ranges from sizes suitable for light-game fishing, including 0.4 and 0.5, up to a maximum of size 3, with 150 m, 200 m, and 300 m spool options. The 200 m option is available from size 0.4 through size 2, allowing you to choose according to your fishing style and reel capacity.
