YGK X-BRAID Upgrade X4

Y・G・K Co., Ltd.’s X-BRAID UPGRADE X4 is a four-strand braided PE line developed to achieve a balance between the often-conflicting qualities of abrasion resistance and straight-line strength. It combines a high-density pitch construction with WX4, GP, and HST processing to pursue an optimal balance of braiding density and processing-related line characteristics. Designed in accordance with the manufacturer’s standard specifications for PE line diameter, it uses polyethylene with a specific gravity of 0.98.

The line features an Orchid White base color with Urugeso Pink markings every 1 m 15 cm. The 100 m spool is available in sizes 0.2–0.4, the 150 m spool in sizes 0.2–1.5, and the 200 m spool in sizes 0.6–3. Choose the line size and spool length according to your reel capacity, lure, and fishing conditions. Taking advantage of its four-strand construction braided with a fine pitch, this line is designed for saltwater lure fishing, with an emphasis on balancing strength and abrasion resistance.
