HITENA Supernix UT Bass is a nylon-based main line for bass fishing that combines low specific gravity with low stretch. With a specific gravity of 1.09—lower than that of standard nylon lines—it is suited to techniques where you want the line to remain on the water’s surface for longer or do not want the line’s weight to affect the lure’s action. With topwater plugs, floating minnows, and similar lures, the line is designed to help minimize its impact on the lure’s movement and maintain a more natural posture in the water.
The stretch rate is 15% in the UT specification, reducing stretch compared with standard nylon lines. Despite being a monofilament line, it provides the direct handling and sensitivity associated with low stretch. In addition to the easy handling characteristic of nylon-based materials, consideration has also been given to abrasion resistance, making it an option when you want to avoid the stiffness of fluorocarbon. Available in sizes from 3 to 16 lb, it can be selected to match the lure and tackle being used, from finesse techniques to fishing around cover.
