Fish Magnet’s GOOBUM 4.5-inch was developed as a new take on the wide-profile soft plastic, inspired by the way bass feed on baitfish in the mid-water column. Its unique body design combines a knife tail, fork tail, and side arms. Each part grabs the water with even the slightest movement, generating a complex combination of vibrations. Simply reeling it in produces a lifelike, intricate action that creates the appearance of a bird darting through the water.

The underside features a lower section that can accommodate a rattle or nail sinker, allowing for adjustments according to conditions. When used weightless, this section acts as a brake and stabilizer to keep the body balanced. In addition, the deep, joint-like ribs and substantial lower section produce a whip-like action on a jig stroking retrieve, strongly striking the water. Recommended setups include a ZAPPU Bellows Hook #5/0 with a weightless offset rig, a Magnum Bredy #6/0, and a ZAPPU Bowhead Jig for jig stroking. When using the Bowhead Jig, replacing the hook with a Bellows Hook #5/0 and trimming approximately 1 cm from the skirt is recommended. 4.5 inches.
