FISH MAGNET’s MAGATAIL is a soft bait developed around the concept of evolving the curved straight worm that Takuma Hata has pursued for many years to suit modern fields and tackle. The front section has a straight shape, while the curved portion is concentrated toward the rear and combined with a voluminous tail, creating a structure in which the front and rear sections respond differently to angler input. Its defining feature is a time lag: the rear section begins moving slightly after the rod is manipulated, generating a random action that differs from the intended movement.

The bait uses GEECRACK’s S.A.F. material, which combines salt, amino acids, and attractant formula. In addition to the effects of salt content on casting performance and sink rate, the material is designed with a blend of amino acids and attractant formula. The 4.5-inch model is suitable for jighead wacky rigs, weightless Texas rigs, neko rigs, and drop-shot rigs with the hook inserted through the head using a trout-style hook. The head section is designed with an extended collar to make rigging positions easier to identify. Suggested hooks and weights include the ZAPPU Inch Wacky for jighead wacky rigs, the Bellows Hook #1 for weightless Texas rigs, the Rigid Wacky #3 with a nail sinker for neko rigs, and the Rigid Finesse #3 for drop-shot rigs. A 3.5-inch model is also available, offering a different size option from the 4.5-inch model.
