GRASSROOTS Tansan is a versatile darter designed to make topwater fishing enjoyable with a variety of retrieves. Its elongated lower jaw and popper-like body design, which curves toward the tail, produce multiple actions. In addition to the characteristic bubble-producing diving action of a darter, short rod inputs using line slack can create tight turning action with minimal forward movement. It also responds to light, short inputs with a side-to-side walking action, allowing you to work it without moving it far from the target area.

On a steady retrieve, it produces a high-response, roll-dominant waking action on or just below the surface. To make it dive, point the cup toward you and apply input without using line slack; the lure dives smoothly and generates different sounds and bubbles depending on the strength of the input. After diving, it rises along an irregular path and can transition directly into a retrieve. It features a stainless-steel chin guard designed to protect the jaw and enhance flash. The lure measures 90 mm in overall body length, weighs approximately 1/2 oz (14 g), and is designed for surface fishing. It comes equipped with BKK SPEAR 20-SS #4 hooks.
