Eisvogel’s LIVE SINKER is a plate-shaped weight designed for hover strolling. Its unique reflector-like shape adds a flashing effect to a soft bait simply by inserting it into the bait. A special surface treatment keeps the brightness intentionally subdued, creating a flickering flash reminiscent of a baitfish.
When the sinker is rigged vertically, its center of gravity is distributed vertically, helping support the soft bait as it tips during the action while making it easier to produce a rolling action. In addition, its plate shape provides a wider surface area than a nail sinker, reflecting the sound waves emitted by the transducer of a live sonar fish finder. When shooting with live sonar, it makes it easier to display the trajectory of micro soft baits—often difficult to detect—on the fish finder screen. The sinker can be inserted into the soft bait in different directions according to the application and the desired action.
