BassPuzzle’s Grass Piece is a bladed jig designed for easy handling around shallow cover, combining features of a spinnerbait and a chatterbait. It swims steadily in a straight line without requiring a trailer worm, resists rising like a spinnerbait, and produces a distinct vibration that is easy to feel like a chatterbait. Its blade is made from an ultrathin 0.2 mm material, and the structure minimizes the load placed on the blade to enhance action sharpness and responsiveness.
The extremely short arm is paired with 1.0 mm hard stainless-steel wire to achieve a compact silhouette and stable flight posture. It features a large 4/0-class hook. It can generally be used without a trailer worm, but rigging it with a stick bait of around 4 inches produces a shimmy fall, with the lure sinking while wobbling on the fall. In conditions where visibility is reduced by muddy water or weeds, it also supports a sound tune by attaching a split ring approximately #5–#6 in size to the upper arm. The lineup includes 3/8 oz, 1/2 oz, and 3/4 oz models. The Grass Piece FLEX 5/8 oz is a derivative model featuring a jointed connection between the wire and head.
