Follow Wacky Teacher

FOLLOW’s Wacky Teacher is a 5-inch straight worm developed with an emphasis on clearly demonstrating hook-set positions when fishing a wacky rig. Multiple locations on its simple, easy-to-use body indicate the hook-set positions recommended by producer Makoto Igarashi. Designed for easy use while learning the basics of the wacky rig, it also accommodates different rig presentations depending on the hook-set position.

The recommended setups include the weightless wacky rig, Neko rig, and jighead wacky rig. For the weightless wacky rig and jighead wacky rig, the official instructions introduce both rigging methods without a wacky tube and methods using a 7 mm wacky tube. For the Neko rig, front- and rear hook-set examples are provided, with hook size #4 recommended. Centered on wacky-rig applications, this model can be used with different hook positions and with or without a tube to match the posture and presentation of each rig.
