The Swimbait Underground SU×RAGO BAITS D3 (Swimbait Underground X Rago Baits D3) is a three-piece big bait developed with the versatility of a wake bait and crankbait in mind. After an extended period of testing, this model was designed to cover different depths with a single body, from surface presentations to mid-depth-oriented cranking by changing the line-tie position.

The total length is 8 inches, consisting of a 5-inch body and a 3-inch tail. The front nose line tie is designed for subsurface wake action and cranking down to 4 feet, while the chin line tie is intended for wake action and cranking down to 2 feet. The diamond-shaped lip and original triangular water displacement are also key features, providing stable tracking during the retrieve while generating deflection when the bait contacts the bottom or cover.

The standard setup includes size 1/0 hooks and 60 lb-class split rings. It is available in F (Floating) and HF (Heavy Float) variations, allowing anglers to choose according to the desired depth and buoyancy. In general, the nose line tie or chin line tie is selected based on the presentation, with the setup adjusted to the target depth—from slowly working it across the surface as a wake bait to cranking through a consistent depth.
