Teckellure Reel Tanker

Teckel’s LILTANKER is a wake bait with a compact 5 cm body weighing 9.5 g, yet it produces an impressive surface presence that is difficult to imagine from its size alone. Rather than being a super-shallow crankbait that swims just below the surface, it is designed to create a wake on the surface during the retrieve while producing a high-pitched rattle sound. Bone material (natural ABS) is used with consideration for the rattle sound, and a tungsten ball serves as the main weight. This construction helps maintain its action even during fast retrieves.

The multiple steel rattle balls are designed to move freely inside the body without individual chambers. During the retrieve, they create an irregular hunting action, while during the cast they function as a weight-transfer system, making the lure easy to cast despite its small body, even when paired with heavy line. The basic presentation is a steady retrieve after casting, enticing fish with the wake it creates on the surface. It is also designed to minimize hook tangling even when fitted with larger hooks than those typically used on lures in the same size class, combining a compact profile with flexibility in hook setup.
