Blackmaria’s GOKIBURI is a hog-style soft bait designed primarily to create a “hands-up” posture, with its front legs pointing upward. Its numerous specially shaped legs provide buoyancy and water resistance, helping them stand up after the bait lands or during the fall. The body features a slim profile that slips easily into gaps among debris and aquatic vegetation when Texas-rigged. The 3.4-inch and 4.2-inch models also have raised sections that help keep the hook point aligned along the body, allowing them to be rigged weedless without additional adjustments.

Available sizes include the 2-inch MYRA, made with Mylar material, as well as 3.4-inch and 4.2-inch models. The 2-inch MYRA is a lightweight, compact option, while the 3.4-inch and 4.2-inch models can be selected according to the desired amount of bulk. Compatible rigging methods include Texas rigs, drop shots, Neko rigs, weightless rigs, and use as a rubber jig trailer. When rigged weightless, it can also be worked on the surface to imitate an insect. According to the official recommendations, use a 1/0 offset hook with the 3.4-inch model and a 3/0 offset hook with the 4.2-inch model for Texas rigs and drop shots. For Neko rigs, combine a fine-wire hook with a nail sinker. As a jig trailer, the 3.4-inch model is recommended for weights up to approximately 7 g, while the 4.2-inch model is recommended for heavier weights.
