Bottomup Snack Jig

Bottomup’s SNAQJIG is a jointed rubber jig designed for easy hook replacement, secure hook retention during fishing, an integrated feel with the trailer, and the ability to entice fish into striking. The head features a smooth, pointed shape that slips easily through cover, with a low center of gravity and a relatively flat bottom. Its balance is designed to maintain a stable posture while swimming and on the bottom, while responding quickly to subtle rod movements to bring out the trailer’s action. The 60-degree line eye is suited to presentations that minimize forward travel, and its base is embedded to help prevent the knot from shifting. The fine skirt, made from thin material with moderate elasticity, creates soft, undulating movement as a whole during the fall and while swimming, with the tips making fine movements.

The joint features a one-touch locking system that allows the hook to be attached and removed simply by passing it through and twisting it. Crossed wires help prevent the hook from coming free and reduce the tendency of the jig to tip onto its side, making it easier for the hook point to remain facing upward. The hook is easier to attach and remove by pushing it downward against the wire while twisting, and the system accommodates hooks with different wire diameters. In addition to the Scooper Frog series, trailers such as the Bullshog, Hary Shrimp, Gimme, and Valup Swimmer can be paired with the jig; the official setup examples use an offset hook. Available weights are 3.5 g, 5.0 g, 7.0 g, 11.0 g, 14.0 g, and 18.0 g. The 18.0 g model has a skirt that is 1 cm longer than those of the other weights to match the Scooper Frog Mega.
