Bottomup Braver Slim

Bottomup’s BREAVOR SLIM 8 is a straight worm conceived to transfer the vibrations of a shad tail into its long, slim body, causing the slender body itself to produce subtle vibrations. Its supple body changes shape in various ways: the moment line tension is released, it gently expands, then slowly returns to its original form when paused, creating an action with changing speed and intensity. The top side features a ribbed design, while the sides use a different band design with increased thickness. From above, this produces a cohesive, self-generated crawling action that makes the band less noticeable; from the side, the design accommodates hook placement and hook-holding strength for a neko rig. Centerlines on the head and band sections assist with accurate hook placement, while additional material is provided at the recommended hook-setting position for a weightless wacky rig. The moderately buoyant material has a slight firmness, designed to balance responsiveness to rod work, posture stability, and hook-holding strength. With its 2-way design, it can also be used as a straight-type worm by cutting off the tail. On a neko rig, the tail begins vibrating with weights of approximately 0.5 g, while 0.9 g or more is recommended when a more pronounced action is desired. With a weightless wacky rig, it produces a natural, self-generated wriggling action, while for a straight retrieve on a heavy drop shot rig, narrow-gap hooks in sizes #2 to #1 are suitable.
