Bottomup Braver II

Bottomup’s BREAVOR II is a straight worm with a redesigned body balance and action to match increasingly tough fishing conditions. Its tail action is tuned to be tight and high-pitched, creating a 5.4-inch model that delivers appeal without becoming excessively aggressive, even for highly wary bass.

The deep ribbed design across the entire body makes it easier to grip the water and enhances water displacement. Its high flexibility allows the entire body to quiver subtly from the tail’s vibrations during the fall, while even delicate manipulation—just enough to keep the line taut—causes it to wriggle. Deep ribs run along the vertical axis to produce a cohesive, self-generated crawling action, while the horizontal sides are left unribbed to maintain sufficient thickness. It also features a band-shaped section designed to accommodate hook placement and improve durability when used with a neko rig.

A centerline on the body assists with accurate hook placement and makes it suitable for snagless neko rigs. The preferred insertion points for producing action with a weightless wacky rig or jighead wacky rig are easy to identify thanks to the thick ribs and textured finish. Cutting off the tail allows it to be used as a straight-type worm, making it a 2-way design that can be adjusted on the water according to the rig and fishing conditions.
