TANIYAMA SHOJI., LTD.’s BASIC GEAR Split Shot Sinker is an easy-to-use round sinker designed for split shot rigs. It is suitable for the basic setup of attaching weight to the line to add weight to rigs such as soft plastic lures, and can be used when adjusting the rig’s weight.
The body features a slit designed to minimize damage to the line and help prevent the sinker from slipping after installation. Although it is a standard split shot sinker that is crimped onto the line, it is made in Japan with a clean finish and can be removed and reused. Available weights include approximately 0.6 g, 0.9 g, 1.7 g, 2.2 g, 3 g, 4.2 g, and 6.5 g, offering options from lightweight setups to rigs requiring additional weight. This model allows you to assemble a split shot rig while minimizing stress on the line by changing the weight to suit the fishing conditions and rig setup.
