Sumlures Suming

Sam Lures’ Suming-70 is a minnow developed to pursue a stable flight attitude and a consistent feel during the retrieve without relying on a weight-transfer system. Based on the handmade balsa LDF-65 model, it was converted to injection molding and features a body shape with added volume toward the rear, along with a fixed center of gravity. It measures 68 mm in length and is not equipped with a rattle. The floating 70F weighs 6.2 g, while the suspending 70SP weighs 6.8 g, with buoyancy and action varying by model.

It maintains a stable action even on a slow retrieve, producing a combination of rolling and wobbling, while increasing the speed changes its action to a tight, lively movement. The 70F has a standard diving depth of 10–60 cm. When twitched, it shows a sharp action with the stability provided by its fixed center of gravity, but it is primarily designed for a steady retrieve at a constant speed. Adjust the retrieve speed according to fish activity and surface conditions, using it for a slow presentation through the gaps in weed and adding twitches as needed. When connecting it with a snap, remove the ring from the top eye before use. Hook size: #8.
