Sum Lures’ FLASHBACK is a sinking surface bait designed primarily for topwater presentation, while allowing you to search from just beneath the surface down through the water column. Building on the proven performance of the series, the FB65 was developed as an injection-molded model that is easy to handle in terms of availability and price. It features a 65 mm, 8.0 g body with a non-rattle design. Although it is a sinking type, it is primarily intended for use on or just beneath the surface, producing an enticing action in the upper layer to attract fish.

The FB65 is not limited to a single, steady retrieve rhythm. It accommodates presentations that combine regular and irregular movements, with changes in speed ranging from fast actions to extremely slow movements. When fish are not willing to rise all the way to the surface, it can also be allowed to sink and worked below the surface. In both still and flowing water, you can adjust the running depth while searching for surface-layer reactions. To bring out its action potential, use a small snap for the connection; when using a leader, a nylon leader is recommended. The FB65 is equipped with a single hook #6 and is an injection-molded series model, distinct from the conventional handmade and chemical-wood models.
