Moriken Speed Bite’s 912DOT4+ Spinner Bait is a compact spinnerbait featuring a variable-weight design that allows the weight to be configured according to the conditions. When fish are suspended around cover or vertical structure and focused upward, the lighter configuration can be used to target upward strikes. When searching for scattered fish while tracing near the bottom, additional weight can be added to reduce lift and keep the bait lower.

The weight can be set to 5/16 oz, 7/16 oz, or 9/16 oz, allowing the depth range and retrieve resistance to be adjusted with a single body. The wire connection uses a Twist Eye, with a structure designed to account for strength at the base. This wire bait combines a #3/0 hook with a silicone skirt, allowing it to be worked according to the fish’s position and the target depth through different starting configurations and weight combinations. In the lighter configuration, it is suited to enticing fish in the mid-water column, while the added-weight configuration is suited to lowering the bait to a consistent depth and tracing it there.
