DSTYLE’s CRAWL-UP was developed through extensive research by Daisuke Aoki, who had struggled with crankbaits, around the key concepts of “continuing to crawl along the bottom” and “flashing.” As the second lure jointly developed by JACKALL and DSTYLE, it is designed to be retrieved tightly along structures while minimizing snags as much as possible.
The body balance and lip design help reduce snags when contacting obstacles, making it easier for the lure to pass along the bottom as if crawling. Its action is tuned to a wobble-roll, while the passing lines on the back and belly create a flashing effect as the lure swims. Measuring 48 mm and weighing 6.5 g, it is a floating model with a diving depth of approximately 1.5 m. It is designed to be used primarily with a steady retrieve, tracing around obstacles while contacting the bottom and structure. Its buoyancy can also be used to float the lure up and away from obstacles to avoid them. The standard hooks are HAYABUSA Ken Claw #8, with #2 split rings.
