Savage Gear 3D Rad Rat

Savage Gear’s 3D Rad Rat F is a floating topwater lure designed to imitate a rat swimming across the surface, based on a realistic shape recreated in fine detail from a 3D scan of a real rat. The body is made of ABS, while the ears, limbs, and tail use a semi-soft material. The 6.5-inch model features soft material in the hind legs and tail, while the 7.75-inch model uses soft material for the ears, limbs, and tail. The 6.5-inch model has one joint, and the 7.75-inch model has two joints. The joints and soft tail work together to create a lifelike swimming action, while the internal rattle also attracts attention from the surrounding area.

Two line-eye positions are provided, one at the mouth and one at the lip, allowing the action and swimming range to be changed depending on the connection point. When connected to the lip, the lure creates a wake like a rat swimming along the surface. When connected at the mouth, it changes to an action that swims while diving below the surface. When used with the mouth connection, stopping the retrieve produces an action in which the lure rises as if surfacing to breathe. The hooks can also be positioned on top, making the lure suitable for working around or over cover. The 6.5-inch model measures approximately 16 cm and weighs approximately 16 g, while the 7.75-inch model measures approximately 20 cm and weighs approximately 28 g. Both models include a spare tail.
