issei’s Raku-Wari Split Shot Sinker is designed for use with split shot rigs and drop shot rigs, helping to reduce sinker slippage and detachment. By revising the material used in conventional rubber-coated split shot sinkers and making it slightly harder, it has been designed to hold the line securely in place. It is also easy to remove by hand and can be reused repeatedly.
The sinker features a polygonal cross-sectional shape, which is less prone to rolling than a round shape. With a split shot rig, attach it at any desired position on the line and use it to adjust the distance from the worm and the bottom. With a drop shot rig, set it toward the end of the leader and use the sinker’s weight to send the rig down to the bottom. Weights from 0.45 g to 3.7 g are available, allowing you to choose according to the water depth, current, and desired feel while working the rig.
