Issei GCGN Minnow

issei’s G.C.G.N. Minnow 89SR-SP is a jerkbait designed to intentionally lose its balance with jerks and twitches, recreating the movements of a dying small baitfish. Measuring 89 mm—following the G.C. Minnow in size—it features an unstable balance created by concentrating the air chamber volume toward the front of the body. When action is imparted, the internal weight moves randomly back and forth, causing the lure to dart from side to side while disrupting its posture underwater. Rather than producing a regular swimming action, its random darts vary with each input to imitate the movements of fleeing small baitfish or weakened forage.

Designed to be worked with rod movements such as jerks and twitches, it draws out the movement of the internal weight and changes in the body’s balance. In addition to continuous movement, varying the strength of the action and incorporating pauses allows anglers to take advantage of its unstable posture changes. It comes standard with #8 hooks at both the front and rear and #2 split rings.
