Issei Power Bibibi Bug

issei’s Power Bibibi Bug is based on the original Bibibi Bug, with bulkier feelers designed to create stronger water displacement. The combination of voluminous feelers and a pinched body produces lingering movement when the bait hits bottom or is manipulated with the rod. The body features intricately shaped three-dimensional curved ribs that churn the water and add variation to the action. The two small pairs of legs on the head respond to water flow with subtle movements, generating fine vibrations during the fall and while being worked. Since the feelers and legs each produce different movements, the entire body creates a complex action.

Designed with Texas rigs and free rigs in mind, it can be used by pausing on the bottom after the bait settles, then lightly moving it with the rod to take advantage of its lingering action. It can also be used as a trailer on a rubber jig. The 3.5-inch model is recommended with #1 to #2/0 multi-offset hooks, while the 4.2-inch model is recommended with #2/0 to #4/0 hooks, allowing you to select the hook size according to the bait size. The 3.5-inch and 4.2-inch models differ in body size and recommended hook size, so they can be selected according to the rig, sinker, and trailer combination being used.
