Issei Bibibi Bug

issei’s Bibibi Bug is a hog-style soft lure designed with a complex body shape and multiple antennae and legs to create lifelike micro-vibrations with retrieves that involve almost no action. Three-dimensional curved ribs are arranged across the body surface to agitate the water and generate subtle vibrations during movement. Two types of antennae with different volumes alter the water flow, while the legs on the head catch water during the fall and move with a quick, subtle action. Its distinctive design provides appeal even on a fall with minimal rod manipulation, making it suitable for situations where line noise is undesirable.

The 2.6-inch and 3.2-inch models are sized for versatility across different rigs and conditions, and feature slits in the body for easy rigging with jigheads or offset hooks. The 4-inch model is sized for use as a rubber jig trailer and features a fat body that is easy to fish weightless. In addition to its specially designed antennae, it also features purpose-built legs. The two pairs of legs, positioned in opposite directions, catch water during the fall or retrieve to generate subtle vibrations. Recommended hook sizes are #6–4 for the 2.6-inch model, #4–2 for the 3.2-inch model, and #2/0–4/0 for the 4-inch model, allowing offset hooks to be selected according to the lure size.
