Boreas ANO Straight

Boreas’s ANO STRAIGHT is designed to produce distinctive movement and feel in the water through its flattened, elliptical profile, which differs from that of conventional round straight worms. Its thick, bulky silhouette is suited to bottom-contact presentations, centered around a neko rig paired with a nail sinker. The body responds to rod movements with a rocking action, while also producing a unique wavering motion and vibration on the fall. A key feature is its ability to create more than a simple sinking action as the flat surface catches the current.

In addition to the standard 5.5-inch size, the ANO STRAIGHT is available in multiple sizes to match the scale of the fishery, bait size, and target depth. With a neko rig, adjusting the sinker weight and the intensity of the presentation makes it easy to cover conditions ranging from shallow bottoms to areas with current or greater depth, making it well suited to probing while detecting changes in the bottom. The PREMIUM ANO STRAIGHT is a hand-poured version of the ANO STRAIGHT, featuring beautiful colors distinct from the standard model and high buoyancy. It also accommodates rigging intended to take advantage of its buoyancy, including its falling posture and the way the worm rises when lifted.
