It features a 40 mm, 4.5 g floating body with a running depth of approximately 2 m. The tight wobbling action generated by its sharp body shape produces a subtle yet pronounced vibration that searches the mid-water column despite its small profile.

During a steady retrieve, it can cover a wide area at a brisk pace. It is also suited to techniques in areas with rocky bottoms, where the lip is allowed to contact the bottom or cover, then the lure is paused and allowed to float up before resuming the retrieve. By using a stop-and-go presentation that takes advantage of its floating body, anglers can work around cover while minimizing forward movement. It pairs well with finesse-oriented baitcasting tackle or spinning tackle, and an official staff report also introduces a setup combining spinning tackle with PE line and a fluorocarbon leader.
