RAID JAPAN’s MAXXBLADE was developed in two types with contrasting appeal profiles—“subtle” and “strong”—to handle situations that conventional bladed jigs could not fully address. Type-SPEED is designed around subtle vibration, an ultra-high pitch, and high-speed performance, pursuing a highly responsive blade that starts working easily even on a curved fall, along with a balance that keeps the lure from breaking the surface during fast retrieves. It is easy to handle from dead-slow to ultra-fast retrieves: the 8g model is suited to shallow water, the 11g model covers a wide range of depths, and the 14g model is ideal for slightly deeper water and areas with fast current. Type-POWER is designed to create strong vibration and appeal at a slow pace, making it suitable for fishing in stained water or windblown conditions, as well as thoroughly searching around weeds and bushes. Despite its powerful action, the crisp vibration is easy to feel, allowing you to monitor the lure’s movement underwater while retrieving. It also features a weed guard designed to balance hook-setting performance with cover-deflection ability, making it suitable for fishing directly into cover. Type-POWER is also well suited to pairing with trailers that offer ample volume and resistance, such as the FULLSWING 4-inch/5-inch and Egu Chunk 4-inch. This bladed jig allows you to select the trailer, retrieve speed, and weight according to the conditions.
