Raid Japan Egu Chunk

RAID JAPAN’s EGU CHUNK is a chunk-style soft bait developed for Jigsto and Minosto presentations, where it is rigged on a rubber jig or football head and swum through the mid-water column while snapping the line slack. Designed to push a strong amount of water and transmit its presence to fish at a distance, it combines claws with more thickness and weight than conventional chunk-style soft baits with supple, wide arms. The claws generate water displacement that is caught by the arms, creating a powerful vibration that deflects water in all directions.

The body features side legs that move easily with minimal manipulation, while the belly is equipped with thin, plate-like ribs that use buoyancy to create lingering action and subtle vibrations reminiscent of a crustacean. Its action changes according to the presentation and situation, from falling, dragging, and swimming to remaining stationary. In addition to serving as a jig trailer, it is compatible with Texas rigs, leaderless drop-shot rigs, free rigs, and heavy Carolina rigs. Available in 3-inch, 3.5-inch, and 4-inch sizes, each size is designed to bring out its specific characteristics through adjustments to the claw size, body thickness, and softness of the soft-bait material.
