HIPLAST’s handcrafted RAKU Flipper Tail is a soft bait developed through research into shrimp, designed to accommodate shallow-focused approaches. The paddle tail at the rear of the body is designed to catch water, and it is used on a drop shot for staying near the bottom and enticing bites, and on a nail rig for weighted falls and bottom presentations.
In actual fishing, it is used not only for sight fishing in shallow water, but also for slow approaches with a drop shot or weightless rig. On a drop shot, the hook is positioned toward the front of the bait to suspend it above the bottom, while the weightless setup has been confirmed with an offset hook. With a nail rig, a nail sinker can be inserted into the body to adjust the fall posture and handling. GETTING BASS.
