RYUGI’s FOOT BALL HEAD G2 is the second-generation model of the FOOT BALL HEAD TG, featuring a design in which the sinker and hook are connected directly without an intermediate connector. It is designed to keep the rigged hook and soft bait stable, improve snag resistance, and maintain the soft bait’s natural action. The football-shaped head supports multiple actions depending on how it is manipulated.
With a straight retrieve, it produces a stable mid-water swimming action, while adding shaking creates a mid-strolling-style presentation. On the bottom, it can also be intentionally stuck and then popped free to trigger a reaction bite. During the fall, it drops straight down. Designed for use with a hook and soft bait rigged to the head, it allows anglers to vary their presentation between retrieving, shaking, bottom-stacking and popping free, and falling. Model R2014 is available in weights of 3/16 oz (5 g), 1/4 oz (7 g), 3/8 oz (10 g), 1/2 oz (14 g), 5/8 oz (17.5 g), and 3/4 oz (21 g).
