Ryugi Miura Tama

RYUGI’s MIURADAMA is a cushioning rubber stopper designed to help prevent reduced knot strength and line breakage caused by a sliding sinker repeatedly contacting the connection between the hook and line. In addition to protecting the knot, it prevents the hook and sinker from becoming integrated, helping the sinker separate more easily from the hook. This keeps the worm in a weightless presentation for longer, making it easier to create a “feeding pause.”

This component is designed for rigs that use sliding sinkers, such as free rigs. Placed between the sinker and hook, it cushions the impact of the sinker. Available in Size 3 and Size 4, with Size 4 offering improved cushioning performance. In free rigs and heavy Carolina rigs using sinkers weighing 1/2 oz (14 g) or more, it is designed to reduce the risk of the heavy sinker crushing the MIURADAMA and forcing it into the hook eye. Choose the appropriate size according to the sinker weight and rig being used.
