RYUGI’s INFINI hobbit is an offset hook customized from the INFINI for finesse presentations in tough conditions, while providing the hooking performance and strength needed when targeting cover with light line. Designed for spinning tackle, light rods, and light line, it features a shank wire diameter, barb, and hook-point position configured to make setting the hook easier even with light input.
Its gap balance, achieved by adjusting the gap width and hook-point orientation, is designed to provide a hooking action reminiscent of a masu trout hook. When a worm is rigged and worked tightly along cover, attention is also given to snagless performance to help reduce hang-ups. It offers the strength needed for somewhat forceful fights on light line and unexpected battles with large fish, using Cyber Metal for the material and a TC coating on the surface to enhance penetration and hook rigidity. Rather than simply downsizing the hook, this model pursues easy hooking with finesse setups and the ability to handle cover, and is available in sizes 1 through 8.
