Ryugi Wide Pitch Screw Keeper

RYUGI’s WIDE PITCH SCREW KEEPER is a replacement hook component designed to bring out the performance of Pierce Hooks by focusing on the position at which the worm is held and how it shifts when setting the hook. During normal use, the worm stays securely in place, while the keeper’s structure allows it to shift when setting the hook. This intentionally moves the worm away from the hook point, helping facilitate a solid hookset. It can be used alongside a standard keeper depending on whether you want to hold the worm firmly or take advantage of the worm’s movement during the hookset.

In addition to being used as a replacement for a Pierce Hook keeper, it can also replace the keeper on hooks currently in use. The worm stays securely in place during normal operation but moves only when setting the hook, helping balance worm retention with hooking performance. Available in sizes M and L. Select the size according to the hook and worm size and the condition of the keeper, then replace the keeper after setting the worm.
