YAMATOYO TEGUSU FLUORO VALUESTAR SOFT is a soft-type fluorocarbon line for lure fishing, designed with a focus on easy handling and reduced memory. While retaining the characteristic properties of fluorocarbon, it offers the flexibility needed for use as a main line, with attention given to ease of line replacement and handling during casting.
Made from 100% fluorocarbon, it comes in a clear color. Its low initial stretch and high specific gravity allow it to take advantage of fluorocarbon’s tendency to sink easily in the water. It also features a hard, abrasion-resistant surface and helps reduce line slack when exposed to wind. Combining the easy handling of a soft-type line with fluorocarbon’s low stretch and abrasion resistance, it is designed to make lure action easier to feel.
Available in sizes from No. 1 to No. 5, or 4 lb to 20 lb. This range allows you to choose a setup for handling lightweight lures or a heavier size when greater strength is required. Because fluorocarbon tends to concentrate stress at the knot, use an appropriate knot and take care to avoid excessive friction heat when tightening.
