ENGINE’s SHU7 is a 2.8-inch soft lure developed around its distinctive, purpose-designed form to support a variety of rigs, including I-shaped weightless rigs, mid-strolling, and drop shots. Beneath its simple appearance is a shape that lends itself to a wide range of presentations, allowing anglers to adapt its use by changing the rig and retrieve technique.
With a weightless rig, it is easy to use as an I-shaped lure on or just below the surface. A steady retrieve is the basic approach, with speed and depth adjusted according to the conditions. For mid-strolling, it can be worked to drift through the mid-water column, while with a drop-shot rig, pairing it with a sinker allows anglers to probe from near the bottom to the mid-water column. For hook setup, the manufacturer recommends a SUPERIOR MⅡ hook in sizes #5–#10 for a trout-style hook setup, or a SUPERIOR LO hook in size #2 or #3 for a standard offset setup. FECO-compliant. Made in Japan.
