GEECRACK’s SUPAKU BAIT 80F is a surface-oriented I-shaped plug developed under the supervision of Akira Saito, a Lake Biwa fishing guide, with the aim of approaching fish by stopping the lure on the surface. Rather than imparting excessive action during the retrieve, it is designed for presentations that leave the lure sitting on the water and allow fish focused on the surface to inspect it.
The 80F is a floating model that rises to the surface after landing. It can be steadily retrieved across the surface or paused and left floating to create a longer interval. The official lineup also includes the slow-sinking “SS” model, allowing anglers to choose between keeping the lure on the surface and slowly sinking it according to the difference in buoyancy. This 80 mm-class I-shaped hard lure is designed around stopping on the surface, with retrieve speed and pause duration adjusted according to the fish’s response.
