Storm’s Rattlin' Chug Bug is a topwater plug that produces surface actions resembling a fleeing baitfish rather than being limited to a single presentation. Depending on rod work and retrieve speed, anglers can elicit a variety of movements, including a splash-producing spit, side-to-side darts, a cup-faced chug that pushes water, and a continuous walk-the-dog action.
The rear of the body contains a weight to help achieve greater casting distance, while the interior is equipped with a rattle that produces a loud sound. The tail hook also features a teaser tail to enhance its presence on the surface. Its buoyant design allows it to be worked relative to the water’s surface after landing. The CB08 measures 3-1/4 inches in length, weighs 3/8 ounce, and comes equipped with size #4 hooks. It has a larger body and heavier weight than the CB06 in the same series.
