Strike King’s Pro Model Crankbait is a deep-diving crankbait designed to reach deep water quickly after a long cast, thanks to the XD series’ distinctive curved lip and diving posture. The body features flat surfaces that create strong underwater vibrations, while the realistic finish is completed with 3D eyes. The Pro Model Crankbait series offers different diving ranges: the HC5XD reaches approximately 15 feet, while the HC6XD dives to more than 19 feet. The HC6XD weighs 1 ounce, making it well suited for efficiently covering deep water.

The basic technique is to cast far enough to reach the desired depth, then retrieve at a steady speed while allowing the lip to contact the bottom and cover.
