Megabass Magdraft Head

Megabass MAGDRAFT HEAD is a jighead designed to expand the range of retrieve speeds and depths while taking advantage of the head-shaking action of the MAGDRAFT FREESTYLE. Its low-center-of-gravity design features a reduced volume around the line eye and an extended bottom, helping stabilize the swimbait’s posture while making it easier to deflect off cover. It is designed to bring out the MAGDRAFT FREESTYLE’s natural swimming action, and the heavier models can trace deeper ranges than the standard MAGDRAFT.

Hook sizes include #5/0 for the MAGDRAFT FREESTYLE 5-inch and #6/0 for the 6-inch model. The #5/0 is available in weights from 1/4 oz to 3/4 oz, while the #6/0 is available from 3/8 oz to 1 oz, allowing you to choose according to the target depth and retrieve speed. To rig it, set the hook into the corresponding MAGDRAFT FREESTYLE size and use a steady swimming retrieve as the basic presentation, adjusting the depth from the surface to the mid-water column and deeper ranges by changing the weight. The stability provided by the low-center-of-gravity head also makes it suitable for working around cover.
