Megabass Sleeper Gill

Megabass SLEEPER GILL is designed to create intense, close-contact action through ultra-slow movement, allowing it to target situations where conventional swimbaits and fast-moving lures fail to draw strikes in bluegill- and crucian carp-pattern scenarios. Built around a silhouette reminiscent of small bluegill or crucian carp and the concept of slowly swimming the lure close to the bottom, this model is intended for approaches to snag-prone areas such as dense laydowns, cover bushes, weed beds, and reservoir timber or submerged stumps.

Its structure is designed to navigate around cover more easily, featuring a Weed Guard Fin (PAT.P) that utilizes the dorsal fin shape and a Sleeper Hook design that conceals the hook point in the upper portion of the body. A hollow space inside the body compresses when a fish bites, allowing for easier hook penetration. The low-center-of-gravity weight balance and pectoral balancer stabilize the swimming action during bottom contact, producing a realistic action on slow retrieves that make the lure crawl along the bottom. This 3.2-inch, 3/4 oz. swimbait also responds to rod manipulation that moves the tail before pausing the lure.
