Bomber Long A

Bomber’s Long A is a short-lip minnow featuring a minnow-inspired body and a design suited to rod-work techniques such as jerking and ripping. It produces an action with a stable rolling motion and can be worked not only with a retrieve after casting, but also by manipulating the rod to impart action to the lure. The series includes models with different buoyancy settings and sizes.

The Long A 14A is a floating model designed for cranking shallow water. The official catalog lists a diving depth of 2–3 feet when cranked and 4–8 feet when trolled, making it suitable for probing from just below the surface through shallow areas. By contrast, the Pro Long A B15AP is a suspending model with its weight adjusted to maintain a horizontal posture. Its cranking range is 4–6 feet, and it is suited to techniques that combine jerks with pauses. Because the 14A and B15AP differ in size, buoyancy, diving range, and posture during manipulation, they can be selected according to whether you want to cover shallow water with a floating lure or suspend the lure after a jerk.
