Bait Breath Needle

Bait Breath’s Needle is a straight worm with more than a simple straight profile. A subtle waist in the center of the body adds variation to its slim silhouette. Available in 2.5-inch and 3-inch sizes, it is designed for delicate presentations that take advantage of its compact profile.

The body is made from a material with moderate firmness. Combined with the waisted design, it produces subtle vibrations underwater. Rather than requiring constant, aggressive movement, it is designed to flutter naturally in response to rig manipulation and current, making it well suited to slowly searching a consistent water layer. It also features Bait Breath’s BYS-MIX flavor, intended to encourage fish to hold onto the worm longer after biting.

The primary setup is a jighead rig, but it is also compatible with Ajikyarō and split-shot rigs. With a jighead, it can be worked by allowing it to drift through the midwater column. With a Carolina-style Ajikyarō rig or split-shot rig, anglers can search different depths by using the weight of the rig. The slim body makes hook placement easy, and the Needle can be used across a wide range of depths—from the surface to near the bottom—depending on the rig and presentation.
