Bait Breath’s VEIN POWER PLUS is a straight worm redesigned with an emphasis on water displacement, based on the original VEIN, which excels at producing a subtle action. Rather than simply increasing the body thickness, Bait Breath adjusted the material hardness and the amount of BYSMIX attractant and salt. In addition to improving hook retention and enhancing scent, the design increases the resistance the body creates in the water, pursuing the characteristic feel and presence of a straight worm. From delicate presentations with spinning or bait finesse tackle to fishing around cover, its design makes it easy to expand your choices of rigs and tackle.

Available in 2.5-, 3.5-, 4.5-, and 5.5-inch sizes, it can be selected according to conditions, bait size, and the desired amount of bulk. On all sizes, the hook-set section is based on a diameter of 7–8 mm, providing a guideline when combining it with tubing or similar components. When taking advantage of its water displacement, the resistance can be adjusted easily through the choice of rig, weight, and presentation speed, making it suitable for everything from subtle presentations to techniques that emphasize the worm’s presence inside cover.
